Men Have Accidents Ogling Women
Created on 09-Aug-10 10:53.
Summary: A new study says summer not only brings bikinis and warm weather, but more car accidents. According to a study by a British car insurance company, car accidents rise in the summer, especially when men are driving. The study found 29 percent of men admit to being distracted by women's attire in the summer, compared to just 3 percent of women who had the same problem because of men’s clothing. The insurance company says in the summer men make 16.4 percent more insurance claims than women. The study also says road rage and aggressive driving during hot summer months also causes men to get in more crashes, not to mention people are driving more in general.

Summary: The Las Vegas Review Journal says Clark County School District officials are trying to use driver's licenses and work permits to threaten teens who drop out or skip class. I found this article interesting because my office has been committed to teen driver safety in the Las Vegas community for years. National statistics show car crashes are the number one killer of teens, and my office has handled both cases were teens were injured in accidents or and when others have been hit by a teen driver.

Summary: Imagine being told you have an infection on three different occasions by the same doctor and finding out a year later you actually have a cancerous tumor in the bladder. How would you feel if hospital staff found a growth in your chest and never told you or your doctor? Imagine going in to have a simple, routine colonoscopy and finding out months later you left with Hepatitis C. These are the types of calls my office gets every day; Calls from people who trusted doctors and hospital staff, only to be left feeling cheated and angry.
