A new study says the diet drug Meridia increases heart attack & stroke risk in patients with pre-existing conditions, like heart disease.

An article in the USA Today says Meridia already contains a label warning that the drug should not be used in patients with known cardiovascular disease, but the study points out that some people may have heart disease and not even know it.
