Las Vegas Has The Worst Drivers in the Country
Created on September 3, 2010This may not shock you but a new study says Las Vegas has the worst drivers in the country. An article in the Las Vegas Sun says Las Vegas ranked number 144 in an annual America’s Best Drivers Report, which ranked the 200 largest cities in the country based on the frequency of vehicle collisions.
The report says drivers in Las Vegas are 21 percent more likely to have a collision than the national average. However, other cities in the Valley, like North Las Vegas and Henderson, did a little better in the study. And Reno was ranked for having some of the safest drivers in the country.
Do you need a crash-course on the rules of the road and how to be a safe driver? Then take our Driver’s ED test on our website. It was created for teens but we can all use a good reminder of how we should be driving.
