Elderly Woman Dies After Being Hit by Motorcycle

A 77-year-old woman passed away on January 14th after being struck by a motorcycle while she was crossing the street. The incident occurred near Boulder Highway and Twain Avenue as the elderly woman was attempting to cross the street around 5:45 p.m. According to police, she was wearing dark clothing and was not crossing at a legal crosswalk. The motorcyclist was thrown from the vehicle upon impact with the pedestrian and taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with minor injuries.
