Teenager Killed After Car Tire Ruptures on I-15 in Nevada

Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that took the life of 18-year-old Kobe Bailey in the early morning of November 18th. The victim was thrown from the vehicle on Interstate 15 at high speed after the back right tire of the vehicle ruptured, causing the car to veer off the road and roll into the desert. The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by the time authorities arrived. It is unclear what caused the blowout of the tire at this time. The other three passengers of the vehicle were taken to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
