Hit-and-Run Crash Injures Man and Kills Dog North Las Vegas police were investigating a hit-and-run crash Saturday evening that injured a man and his killed dog. The man and dog were crossing the street near Martin Luther King and Gowan around 9:30 p.m., according to police.  A vehicle struck both the man and dog then fled the scene, police said. The man was transported to University Medical Center and expected to survive. However, the dog died at the scene. Police do not have a description of the vehicle or driver involved.
