A 24-year-old Las Vegas man has passed away after his motorcycle collided with a minivan on December 22nd .


Police reported that the crash happened at 7:30 p.m. on Tropicana Avenue, just east of Spencer



The motorcyclist was headed east when he collided with a minivan that was making a left

turn into a private drive, said police. Police also reported that the motorcyclist was driving

recklessly, splitting lanes, and speeding. The motorcyclist left behind 250 feet of skid marks

from braking before the collision.


The Las Vegas man’s identity has not been released, he was pronounced dead at the scene.


The minivan driver, a 50-year-old Las Vegas man, was not injured in the accident. He remained

at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.


This crash remains under investigation.
