A three-vehicle crash closed down an intersection Friday morning, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police reported.

According to LVMPD officers, the incident occurred at the Rancho Drive and Oakey Boulevard intersection after 10 a.m. At least one person was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition. 

The police launched an investigation and closed the intersection as well as northbound Sahara at Rancho and westbound traffic on MLK at Oakey. Police advised drivers to avoid the area.
