Thursday afternoon, a 53-year-old Las Vegas woman died in a car crash in Summerlin, Nevada.

According to police, the crash involved two vehicles and occurred just after 1:00 pm near Crestdale Lane and Trailwood Drive near Summerlin Parkway.

The incident involved a 2007 Hyundai Azera that ran a stop sign at the intersection, striking a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350.

According to the Clark County coroner’s office, the 53-year-old woman driving the Hyundai died at University Medical Center just after the time of the crash.

The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was also transported to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
