A motor home ran over a woman on Tuesday April 5th, in Las Vegas after she fell off the vehicle while it was moving. The incident occurred in a parking lot near the Strip, about a mile from Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, according to authorities.

The woman was pronounced dead by EMTs at the scene of the accident. The woman appeared to be hanging on to the Ford E-350 Jamboree’s passenger side as it drove east, according to KSNV. The driver made a right turn in the parking lot. Then, the woman lost her grip and fell onto the pavement, causing her to be run over by the rear wheels of the automobile.

There was no information given on what the two were doing and the identity of the victims was not released. It is unclear if impairment was involved or not, but the driver stayed at the site of the accident.

An investigation is still ongoing.
