Five Injured After Car Crashes Through Store in Carson City Nevada

Tragedy, panic, and disarray struck Carson City on January 15th after a car crashed through a door and into a group of shoppers inside of a Sportsman’s Warehouse. According to police, the Toyota Prius smashed through the east side doors of the store before traveling roughly 100 feet and hitting the far doors on the west end. Sheriff Ken Furlong gave details of the incident and reported that no one was killed in the terrifying wreck but five people were taken to the hospital to treat their injuries. Preliminary investigatory reports show that the driver of the Prius was believed to have suffered a medical emergency before crashing through the storefront. Luckily, no store employees were harmed in the incident and damage to the store was described as minimal. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
