One Dead in Crash on I-15 in Southwest Las Vegas Valley Nevada Highway Patrol has reported one fatality in a crash on the evening of June 30th in the southwest Las Vegas Valley. Police responded to a call at around 10 p.m. that detailed a Jeep driving recklessly on I-15 while approaching Starr Avenue. They later received another call that said the same vehicle had crashed and hit the center median impact attenuator head-on, causing the vehicle to spin into the road. The Jeep then hit a black Cadillac, and finally a gold Toyota before coming to a rest. The driver of the Jeep was transported to University Medical Center, but passed away on the way to the hospital.
