Community Activities from February 6th to February 12th in Las Vegas Valley COMMUNITY EVENTS (FEBRUARY 6 - FEBRUARY 12) February 6: The Clark County Law Library is hosting a free criminal record sealing forms completion clinic for Clark County. There will also be a blood drive at the Aliante Library from 11:30-2:00pm. February 7: The Clark County Library will be hosting a free showing of Brides of Dracula at 1:00pm. In the evening, the Large Vision Business Network Mixer and a host of Clark County businesses will be providing a night of Love in Las Vegas, to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Suncoast Hotel & Casino. Also, the SpringHill Suites Convention Center is holding the 6th annual ArtNight Artists Reception. February 8: The UNLV Jazz Concert Series is presenting the UNLV Latin Jazz Ensemble at the Clark County Library. Also, Nerd Trivia is taking place at the Millennium Fandom Bar! February 9: There will be a GENTRI Valentine Concert at Cashman Center Theater at 7:30 pm. February 10: The Divine Café at the Springs Preserve is holding, “Couples in the Kitchen: A Hands-On Cooking Class”, at 6:30 pm. At 7 pm, the Silverton Casino and Old School 105.7 FM are bringing back “Friday Night Live- Gold Series”. February 11: The Brady Heart Foundation 5k fun run takes place at 8am at Sunset Park. Also, the Vegas Pet Expo- Amazing Pet Expo will be taking place at Cashman Center. If you have any old items you’d like to get rid of, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is having a rummage sale from 6am until 1pm and they are accepting any items before Sunday. February 12: The Las Vegas Hot Diggity Dachshund Club & Rescue presents K-9 Valentine at 55 S. Valle Verde Dr. #300 (all proceeds go to the rescue). Additionally, the annual Chinese New Year Celebration at Chinatown Plaza is taking place from 10am to 5pm.
