58-Year-Old Killed in Rollover Accident
A 58-year-old man passed away in a single-vehicle rollover crash on the morning of October 8th.
Las Vegas police received a report about a crash at 11:31 a.m. north of East Bonanza Road at Winchester Street.
According to authorities, a Nissan Titan was headed east on Bonanza while towing a small utility trailer. The Nissan had crossed over the center median and came into the westbound lanes of Bonanza. As the Nissan continued it struck a raised curb and then collided with a residential block wall located at the intersection’s northeast corner.
The Clark County Coroners Office identified the driver as 58-year-old John Shook of Las Vegas. Shook was rushed to University Medical Center, where he unfortunately passed away.
His death was ruled as accidental.
