81-Year-Old Woman Killed After Being Hit by Car in DUI Suspected Incident A woman was killed on the early morning of March 28th after being involved in an auto-pedestrian crash in Silverado Ranch. Police responded to a call at approximately 4:41 a.m. in which the 81-year-old female was reportedly involved in a collision where she was struck by a white Lexus. The driver of the Lexus was suspected of impairment and arrested while the woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Roads in the area were forced to close in order for police to conduct a proper investigation. The woman’s tragic death marked the 25th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police’s jurisdiction for the year 2021. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
