Bus Kills A Cyclist in Las Vegas Metro Police have released more information on the incident that occurred on Friday night, where a cyclist lost their life after clinging to the side of a bus and eventually being struck by it. According to police, the crash happened at 7:20 p.m. on Spring Mountain Road, east of the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard. It was determined that a bus traveling east on Spring Mountain had just departed from a bus stop when the cyclist was riding along the right side of the bus. The bicyclist then clung to the side of the bus and at some point lost control and was hit.  The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
