Car Accident Causes Flooding and Closure on Las Vegas Boulevard
A car crash in the early morning of October 12th caused a water line to burst and the closure of Las Vegas Boulevard South.
Around 2:20 a.m. a motorist drove their car into a fixed object near the Circus Circus hotel and casino.
The object was located on the 2500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, near Liset Way. Las Vegas Police said this caused “a water main line to rupture, spilling water into Las Vegas Boulevard.”
The road was closed in both directions until 6:00 a.m. that day when Las Vegas Valley Water
Authority was able to repair the broken line.
Luckily, the driver did not suffer any major injuries in the incident.
