Driver Dies After Colliding with Two Brick Walls On the morning of Sunday, April 17th,  the driver of a Ford F-150  died after crashing into two cinder block walls near North Hollywood Boulevard and Walnut Canyon Drive, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The truck driver was traveling at a high rate of speed on North Hollywood Boulevard until he lost control and veered off the road in an effort to regain control, LVMPD said. The vehicle hit a cinder block wall and a light pole as it drove north before colliding with another wall near North Hollywood Boulevard and Walnut Canyon Drive. According to the medical team, the driver had already died when they arrived at the scene.  The death of this driver marks Las Vegas Metro Police Department's 47th traffic-related fatality in its jurisdiction for 2022.      “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
