Two people were rushed to the hospital on the evening of January 24th after a head-on collision between two vehicles in the central valley. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, a blue pickup truck violently collided with a white sedan near Spring Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard around 7:34 p.m. The adult drivers of each vehicle were taken to the hospital immediately, one in critical condition. It is unknown at this time if there were other passengers in either vehicle. Traffic had to be halted at the intersection of the accident until the following morning. Fatal detectives have been investigating due to the severity of one driver’s injuries, according to Lt Gordon of Las Vegas Metro Police. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
