Las Vegas Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash Leads to the Death of One Pedestrian One man is dead following a fatal collision between a vehicle and pedestrian on the evening of March 5th, around 9:30 p.m. The incident took place on N. Decatur Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, as witnesses detail that the pedestrian was crossing the street outside of a market crosswalk when he was struck by a “possible dark grey Honda Civic” on the front right side of the vehicle. Police say that the man was thrown across the intersection and came to rest on the west sidewalk on the south side of the intersection.  After the incident, the vehicle fled the scene without contacting emergency personnel.  Witnesses of the scene immediately began to render aid and contacted emergency personnel.
