Las Vegas Speeding Driver Dies In Car Roll-Over The Las Vegas Police were at the scene of a fatal crash in the southwest valley on Monday night. Officers arrived at the Buffalo Drive and Torino Avenue area around 8 p.m.   One vehicle was involved in the crash that led it to roll over, said Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Lt. David Gordon. The police said, in a media release, that the driver was a 73-year-old man from Pahrump who was pronounced dead at the scene.  Witnesses and a surveillance video revealed a 2010 Toyota Prius speeding south on Buffalo Drive. According to the police, the Prius left the roadway for unknown reasons. The vehicle traveled through the desert before rolling over multiple times. The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle. His death marks the 27th traffic-related fatality so far for LVMPD’s jurisdiction in 2020.
