Las Vegas Woman Pushing Shopping Cart Hit by Car and Killed A woman pushing a shopping cart was hit by a car and killed on the evening of February 21st in the Spring Valley area. According to police, the incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on Rainbow Road at Spring Valley Parkway North. The woman was dressed in all black while crossing the street. The 67-year-old woman was taken to University Medical Center where she later passed away. Her name has not been released, pending notification of her family. The driver, a 56-year-old Las Vegas man was not injured. He also remained at the scene of the incident and did not show any signs of impairment.  The incident remains under investigation.
