Man Arrested for DUI Resulting in Death of Motorcyclist Around 7 a.m. on Tuesday April 5th there was an accident at the Ann & Allen intersection in North Las Vegas. LVMPD responded and conducted a preliminary investigation. It was determined that a sedan traveling north on Allen road was speeding and ran a red light, colliding with a motorcyclist heading west on Ann.  When medical personnel arrived they pronounced the motorcyclist, a male in his 50's, dead at the site of the crash.  It was later released that the sedan driver was Thomas Munoz Jr. Munoz has a stack of charges against him due to the accident. The charges include: DUI causing death, failing to stop to traffic or use his lights, as well as reckless driving and failing to render aid at the scene of the accident, and failing to wear a seat belt. “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
