Man in Custody After Closing Sunset Road Monday Morning A Las Vegas man has been taken into custody after causing a Las Vegas thoroughfare closure on Monday morning. Lt. David Gordon of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that Sunset Road was closed in both directions from Arville Road to Cameron Street due to an incident around 7:30 am near Decatur Boulevard. Another spokesperson for the police department, Larry Hadfield, reported that the man was transported to University Medical Center and was taken into police custody shortly after noon.
