Motorcyclist Dies on US 95 in Fatal Crash A motorcyclist passed away in a single-vehicle  crash on the early morning of November 23rd.   The incident occurred as a black and white 2020 Suzuki GSK-R750 was headed southbound on US 95, on a ramp near Anna Road.   The initial investigation reports the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed and drifted lanes into the left paved shoulder in a locked wheel skid. This caused the front of the Suzuki to run into the concrete barrier wall. The rider of the motorcycle was then thrown into a light pole in the center median.   The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries from the crash.   Aarom Lew Barrus, a 30-year-old Las Vegas man, has been identified as the victim.   The fatality indicates the 83rd fatality for Nevada State Police Southern Command in 2021.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
