Police were in response to a routine car crash in north Las Vegas on the morning of January 15 when they made a life-saving discovery. When they arrived at the scene of the crash at Washburn Rd and Goldfield Street, two people suffering with gunshot wounds were discovered outside near the crash. Both gunshot wound victims were immediately taken to University Medical Center, their conditions were not reported. It is unclear at this time if the shooting had any relation to the car accident in the area. This situation remains under investigation. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
