Police Identify Teen Killed in Henderson Car Accident The Henderson Police Department has identified the 13-year-old boy that was killed in a car accident on Monday.  Rex Patchett was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a Ford Mustang that lost control and went onto the sidewalk.  The incident took place late Monday evening on the 100 block of East Paradise Hills Drive near East Horizon Ridge Parkway.  The driver of the car was reportedly speeding, but impairment is not considered to be a factor in the crash.  The crash is still under investigation. “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
