RTC Bus Driver Injured in East Las Vegas Collision
Early Monday morning in east Last Vegas, a bus driver for the Regional Transportation Commission was hospitalized as the result of a crash.
According to Las Vegas Police Lt. David Gordon, the crash happened on Lamb Boulevard and Bonanza Road at approximately 5:18 am. The bus involved in the incident had severe damage at the front end, while a second vehicle involved was also severely damaged at the front of the vehicle.
The drivers of both the bus and the other vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-critical injuries, stated Gordon. Gordon also confirmed that impairment is not suspected at this time.
Two lanes of Lamb were closed throughout most of the morning on Monday as police continued to investigate.
