Community Activities from April 11th to April 16th in Las Vegas Valley In the community April 11: CSN is having an open house at its Summerlin Campus from 3pm to 5pm. April 12: The Clark County Fair & Rodeo is going on from 11am until 11 pm at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Logandale, Nevada. At 7pm, “Movie in the Park Wednesday” is showing Dr. Strange at the Stupak Community Center. The movie is free, along with popcorn and lemonade while supplies last. April 13: Each Thursday, through May 25, the District will have a farmer’s market in the courtyard off Main Street for farm fresh produce. It will be open from 4pm until 8pm. The Total Wine store at Town Square is having a food truck party with 10 different food trucks, music, and fun! The party will start at 4:30pm and will last until 9pm. April 14: There are two free movies to catch in the park this Friday. At 6pm, family activities will be preceding a showing of “The Angry Birds Movie” at approximately 7:15pm in Aviary Park. In the Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre, “The Secret Life of Pets” will be showing at 7:00pm. Food trucks will be selling food and drinks. April 15: The Funny Bunny Race for Parkinson’s will be happening from 8am until 2pm at the W. Wayne Bunker Park. There will be a bunny hop for eggs, petting zoo, face painting, entertainment, food, and more. From 10am to 1pm, the Nevada Donor Network HOPE Walk will be taking place at UNLV in an effort to raise funds and awareness to support their mission of maximizing the gift of life and health through organ, eye and tissue donation.
