Las Vegas Resident Killed in Tragic Single-Car Crash

A local motorist was killed early in the morning of January 9th after a tragic car accident that proved to be fatal. The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Pebble and Manalang roads, west of Bermuda Road. According to police, the motorist was killed after the speeding vehicle hit a curb, sending the car out of control and straight into a block wall. The driver, a Las Vegas resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Public identification is still pending as the crash remains under investigation, per Metro Police. The tragic incident resulted in the seventh traffic fatality of the new year in Metro Police jurisdiction. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
