North Las Vegas Crash, Driver killed by a semi near I-15 Nov. 22, 2019 North Las Vegas crash, driver killed by a semi near I-15 According to North Las Vegas Police, on Friday morning, Nov. 22, there was a deadly crash near Interstate 15 on Cheyenne Avenue. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene due to the impact of the collision from a semi-truck.  According to Officer Eric Leavitt, the four-door sedan ran through a red light and smacked into the semi at around 7 a.m.  Leavitt stated that this action resulted in a fatal collision, as the motorist of the sedan passed away due to the impact. The semi driver did not report any trauma.
