North Las Vegas Crash Kills Man A man was struck by a vehicle that jumped the center median in North Las Vegas.  The crash occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Lake Mead and North Las Vegas Boulevard, according to police. Police say a Dodge Ram truck traveling westbound on Lake Boulevard swerved out of the travel lane and jumped the center median, striking a man in his 40s. The man was transported to University Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. The Dodge driver is suspected of impairment, police said. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers blocked off the area for several hours and advised drivers to avoid the area.
