Three-Wheeled Motorcycle Crash Near I-15 Kills One Person
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, one person was killed in a crash Wednesday night near I-15 and Sahara Avenue.
The accident involved a three-wheeled motorcycle and one vehicle, around 11 p.m. on westbound Sahara at the I-15 northbound on-ramp.
A silver Chrysler sedan was turning left from eastbound Sahara onto I-15. At the same time, a red Can-Am three-wheeled motorcycle was traveling westbound on Sahara, said NHP. According to troopers, the Can-Am entered the intersection on a red light and the two vehicles hit each other.
The male rider of the Can-Am was transported to University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries and died.
Westbound Sahara was closed and diverted onto I-15 as NHP investigated.
