Woman Hit By Multiple Vehicles Dies on I-15 Near Lamb Boulevard On Saturday night, March 14, the Nevada Highway Patrol investigated a fatal crash involving multiple vehicles and one pedestrian. The NHP was called following the sighting of a woman on the 1-15 highway near Lamb Boulevard, said Trooper Travis Smaka. The call was received at approximately 11:15 p.m.  More calls reported that the woman was in an accident. It was unclear to NHP why the woman was on the highway. She was hit by a Mazda SUV and then a silver GMC SUV and pronounced dead at the scene, Smaka said. The drivers of both SUVs stayed at the scene. They were not suspected to be impaired.  The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as a 74-year-old woman. A determination of the cause and manner of her death are still pending. The southbound lanes on 1-15 were closed and traffic was diverted off Lamb Boulevard because the area of the highway where the accident occurred was expected to close for several hours during the investigation, Smaka said.  Ed Bernstein handles personal injury cases in Las Vegas for you or a loved one.
