A driver was fatally injured in a crash with a box truck on the afternoon of June 22nd on the Beltway near I-15.
According to police, the crash took place around 2:45 p.m. on the eastbound beltway.
A woman driving a Honda Accord changed lanes abruptly, where she spun out of control and was hit by a truck. Her car was then forced into a concrete wall along the shoulder.
The woman was rushed to University Medical Center where she unfortunately passed away.
The motorist’s name has yet to be released, pending notification of her family.
