24-Year-Old Driver Passes Away in Multi-Car Crash

A 24-year-old man passed away in a multi-car crash on August 1st in east Las Vegas. Just before the crash, three vehicles were traveling north on Pecos Road just as two cars were traveling south at the Hacienda intersection. All drivers had a green light. A driver of a Honda then ran a red light at the intersection while traveling east on Hacienda. The Honda struck two other cars, sliding across the road, and struck two other cars traveling northbound. The 24-year-old driver of the Honda, Alex Berton, passed away at the scene.
