215 Beltway Crash Leaves One Passenger Dead in Nevada A fatal crash on Wednesday is under investigation by the North Las Vegas Police. A Mustang involved in the incident was reportedly traveling 80 mph in a 25 mph zone. The police reported the Mustang crashed in a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, then struck a light pole near Centennial Parkway and Losee Road, at Azure Avenue and Statz Street, around 3:20 p.m.  One passenger was thrown from the Mustang and pronounced dead at the scene when police arrived. Both the drivers of the Toyota and Mustang had non-life-threatening injuries. Police said impairment was not suspected.
