Deadly DUI Crash in Las Vegas Nevada A Las Vegas woman is suspected of a DUI after a crash that killed a man and injured a 3-year-old boy. Prosecutors say that the woman drank five shots of liquor prior to the crash.  Las Vegas police reported that the woman was driving a Jeep at 4 a.m. Wednesday morning when she drove through a stop sign and hit a Volkswagen compact SUV.  A passenger in the Volkswagen was pronounced dead at the scene and a 3-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Two other occupants were also taken to the hospital, but with minor injuries.  The suspect fled the scene of the crash on foot, but was arrested shortly after being found at her residence. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI, leaving the scene of a crash, among additional felonies.     “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
