According to Las Vegas police LT. David Gordon, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around 2:00 in the morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Las Vegas and Lamb Boulevards and the vehicle that killed the 59-year-old Las Vegas resident was a black Chevy Malibu that fled the scene. The 59-year-old pedestrian died at the scene. Las Vegas police officers later located the Chevy Malibu in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex. “A short time later detectives took a male suspect into custody,” said Lt. Gordon.
