Single-Car Crash Reveals a Driver with a Gunshot Wound Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a single-car crash that occurred in the east valley on the evening of January 3rd. Police report the incident happened around 10:48 p.m. near Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue, at Viking and Topaz roads. Lt. David Gordon of Las Vegas Metro announced that homicide detectives were investigating an incident involving one person who is now deceased.  Per a news release from the morning of January 4th, police dispatch had received multiple calls from concerned citizens reporting a single-vehicle crash. Medical responders extracted the unconscious driver and discovered that the victim had suffered a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities detail that the suspect and motive are unknown. The identity of the victim, cause, and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.    “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
