New details have been released about the tragic accident that left Nine dead earlier this year.
During the January automobile accident that resulted in a multivehicle collision, a 59-year-old driver had both cocaine and PCP in his system, according to autopsy results that were released on Monday.
According to police, speeding was the primary cause of the wreck, as Robinson’s Dodge Challenger was observed accelerating from 90 to 103 mph in five seconds before the collision at a red traffic light. This was confirmed with a diagnosis of the challengers on-board computer. Officials said the drug use is just another devastating element of this tragedy.
Those who perished in the collision include: Jose Zacarias-Caldera, 35; and passengers David Mejia-Barrera, 25; Gabriel Mejia-Barrera, 23; Bryan Axel Zacarias, 15; Lluvia Daylenn Zacarias, 13; Adrian Zacarias, 10; and Fernando Yeshua Mejia, 5. Additionally, Robinson’s passenger, Tanaga Ravel Miller, 46, also succumbed to his injuries.
