One Killed Following East Las Vegas Crash
A 47-year-old woman has passed away following a two-car crash in East Las Vegas on the afternoon of May 23rd.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, a Mazda 3 was traveling west on East Bonanza Road around 2:45 p.m. when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a Honda Civic that was headed south on Fogg Street.
The drivers of both vehicles and an 18-year-old passenger were all taken to University Medical Center.
The driver of the Civic unfortunately passed away at the hospital due to severe injuries suffered in the collision. Her identity has not yet been released.
The other two people involved in the crash were treated for minor and moderate injuries, according to police.
This crash remains under investigation.
