A 69-year-old Pahrump woman passed away in a two-car crash on the morning of December 20th in southern Las Vegas. David Gordon. The collision occurred at a construction zone near South Valley View Boulevard.   Police reported that an unidentified man was driving a 2002 Chevrolet pickup heading west on Silverado Ranch Boulevard when he turned into the path of an eastbound Infiniti. The Chevrolet and Infiniti collision caused a gas can from the bed of the Chevrolet to fly into a nearby Ford Mustang.   The female passenger in the Infiniti was taken to a nearby hospital and unfortunately passed away. According to police, the driver of the Infiniti was hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of the Mustang did not suffer any injuries. The female passenger has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Catherine David. Catherine’s death has been ruled an accident caused by blunt force trauma to the chest.   Lt.
