Crash Kills Child Near Pahrump
On the afternoon of September 5th, a child was killed in a two-car crash near Pahrump on Route 160.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Ashlee Wellman reported that the collision happened on northbound state Route 160. The crash occurred at mile marker 43 around 4 p.m.
The coroner's office identified the victim as 5-year-old Giovanna Duran.
This incident remains under investigation.
