DUI Driver Crashes Into Las Vegas Home
A driver suspected of driving under the influence was arrested after crashing into a home in the northwest valley of Las Vegas on Monday night, reported Nevada Highway Patrol.
The vehicle involved was a black Dodge Challenger driving northbound on 215 and the Far Hills Avenue northbound off-ramp. The accident occurred on March 16 at around 8:00 p.m.
NHP said the driver was going too fast to maneuver the curve and ultimately lost control of their vehicle. The Dodge crossed road lanes, went through a retaining wall, and into the side of the home.
The vehicle did not crash through the house, but did shatter glass doors and dining room windows. The residents were having dinner in the dining room just minutes before the accident.
The NHP arrested the man on suspicion of driving while impaired.
