DUI Suspected in Crash That Killed Two Adults and One Child According to officials with the Nevada Highway Patrol, the motorist who veered into oncoming traffic last month and killed three Idaho residents near Scotty’s Junction was driving under the influence. Tyler Kennedy, 32, was arrested on five counts of reckless driving, three counts of DUI causing death, two counts of DUI causing severe injuries, one count of possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended driver’s license, failure to maintain a lane, and not wearing a seat belt. The March 27th crash occurred about 150 miles northwest of Las Vegas and took the life of a woman, man, and child from Victor, Idaho. All three people died at the scene of the crash.
