Las Vegas Motorbike Crash Kills Two Teenagers A crash involving a dirt bike and a SUV Friday night left two teens dead, said Las Vegas Police. The incident happened near Pavilion Center Drive and Regal Mesa Avenue, near the 215 Beltway and Far Hills. According to the police, a 68-year-old man driving a 2015 Land Rover was taking a left turn when the dirt bike, which was traveling in excess of the speed limit, hit the passenger side of the SUV. The 18-year-old and 14-year-old riding on the Honda CRF 450R dirt bike both died at the scene. The police said one teen was wearing a helmet. Officers believe the teens were brothers. The SUV driver remained at the scene and did not appear to be at fault, according to the police. Multiple concerns about dirt bikes on local roads have been reported to dispatch over the last few weeks in the area. The crash marked the 41st and 42nd fatalities of 2020 in Metro's jurisdiction.
