Nevada Highway Patrol Investigating a Fatal Motorcycle Crash on U.S. 95 Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on U.S. 95 at Eastern Avenue, on the early morning of March 7th. According to authorities, a man and a woman were riding a black motorcycle when the driver lost control. Both riders were then ejected from the motorcycle and the driver was hit by another vehicle.  The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to University Medical Center and is expected to survive the incident. The northbound lanes on U.S. 95 and the Eastern Avenue ramp were closed to investigate the crash.  Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
