North Las Vegas Teacher Dies After Crash While on Bicycle

A memorial was held at the corner of Dona and Washburn to commemorate Sarah Crosby, a woman in her 50’s who was struck by a car while riding her bike on the morning of September 30th. Police responded to the scene of the crash at 7:00 a.m. Crosby, 50, was rushed to the hospital where she unfortunately passed away. The incident occurred as Crosby was riding her bike to school, where she worked as a teacher. The intersection where she was struck by the vehicle is known to be dangerous by the local community. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with investigators. No signs of impairment were detected. “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
