New Haven Officer Killed By Fellow Officer in DUI Accident
New Haven police officer Joshua Castellano passed away in a fatal car crash on the morning of September 17th in Las Vegas.
The crash happened early in the morning around 4 a.m. Officer Robert Ferraro, 34, was later arrested on the charges of DUI resulting in death and reckless driving.
Las Vegas investigators announced that witnesses in the area saw a 2020 Rolls-Royce speeding on a Las Vegas street before crashing into another car, utility poles, and a fire hydrant. Police also mentioned that the car had flipped over several times after that.
Joshua Castellano’s body was brought back to Connecticut on Tuesday September 21st.
Officer Robert Ferraro will be facing charges in court on September 23rd.
